No distillery tour is the same. However standardly you will be shown around and given some history of the business, the brand story, see the production side of things and then finally a nice opportunity to try some of their spirits! The level of information and quality of samples on offer can vary depending on the type of tour you have selected. Often there is a standard one as well as a more premium option- so watch out for those as they can be named as different experiences depending on the distillery ‘e.g. the connoisseurs tour’ for one that’s slightly more advanced information and a tasting of more ‘old and rare’ Whisky at the end.
