“Popped in to have a look and discovered their bar does gin flights- wanted to try the various gins and so this was perfect. Excellent service, beautiful views out the window, and we’re able to sit and enjoy (and discover we quite liked the gin!!). Fave was Origin (classic and light), followed by Beyla (raspberries and honey), then aurora (spices). Not the biggest fan of arkh-angel (too harsh and medicinal) tho we love the name!”

“You booked this on the off chance after sailing in on Britannia. We found the place very easy to find. Ingrid took our group on the tour - despite not being there for long she really knew her stuff and made us welcome. We had a great tour and a few drinks in the bar before making an order which they kindly had delivered for us - Thanks again Ingrid - you were great”

“We visited The Orkney Distillery & Visitor Centre for a gin tasting with Ingrid, and it was excellent. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience really informative without it ever feeling overwhelming. The bar is fantastic too, with a great selection of drinks, making it well worth staying for another round after the tasting. We're already looking forward to coming back to try their first aged whisky when it's released in around 8 months. A special mention for the customer service as well. If you're visiting as part of a cruise, they'll ship any gift shop purchases straight to your home address, which is an amazing service and makes it so much easier to buy souvenirs without worrying about luggage. Highly recommended if you're visiting Orkney.”

“Great place to come to do some local whisky and gin tasting. Came here from a cruise on a Sunday. Staff are very nice. They went over their items. We decided to go the Whisky Flight. You get a nice description card (you can keep) with the 4 tastings. They were all very good. The 12 year had peat notes, but not overwhelming. Very good. Seating inside. They have other non alcoholic beverages also (Irn Brew, coffee). Very nice toilet facilities.”
