For one extraordinary day, the Arbikie distillery is yours. Step beyond the visitor experience and into the heart of whisky making. Work alongside our Master Distiller, Production Manager and Distillery Team to craft a spirit that will carry your name- and your legacy.

A rare experience reserved for a few The Distiller’s Legacy Experience is our most exclusive offering- designed for those who seek more than collecting whisky. This is an invitation to become part of the story behind it. For one full production day, you will join the Arbikie team, gaining unprecedented access to the craft, the people and the decisions that shape every drop of our spirit.

Your Journey Begins

Your day begins with a private breakfast at the distillery, where you'll meet Kirsty, Christian and/ or the Distillery Team before the working day begins. Over breakfast, you'll be introduced to the production schedule and gain an insight into the decisions that shape the day's whisky making. Once equipped with your distillery clothing and PPE, you'll leave the visitor areas behind and become part of the production team.

Live the Craft

Throughout the day, you'll work shoulder to shoulder with our whisky makers, taking part in every stage of production as the team transforms simple ingredients into Arbikie most treasured spirit. Guided personally by Kirsty, Christian and / or the Distillery Team, you'll gain hands-on experience of: Milling and preparing the malt. The art and science of mashing. Fermentation and yeast management. Distillation and spirit production. Understanding spirit cuts and quality assessment. Warehouse philosophy and the influence of oak on maturation. Sensory evaluation throughout the whisky-making journey. Every production day is unique, meaning no two experiences will ever be exactly the same.

A Place at the Table

Throughout the day you'll enjoy exceptional hospitality, including breakfast on arrival, a private lunch with the production team and refreshments throughout your experience. These quieter moments provide the opportunity to ask questions, hear stories from the distillery and explore the philosophy, innovation and craftsmanship behind every cask produced here.

Your Legacy Begins

As the working day draws to a close, you'll reach the defining moment of the experience. Together with Kirsty, Christian and/ or the Distillery Team, you will personally fill your own cask. From that moment, you become a cask owner. Your cask will be entered into our bonded warehouse, where it will mature under our care for years to come. As time shapes your whisky, your cask will remain part of our story until you decide the moment is right to bottle your own single cask whisky.
