The Distillery

About Rosebank Distillery

Rosebank Distillery

Rosebank fired into life in 1840 on the banks of the Forth & Clyde canal, just west of Falkirk in the heart of the Lowlands. The distillery was founded by James Rankine, a local wine merchant, and within forty years the Rankines were shipping their whisky half way around the world to Australia …

Ian McLeod bought the mothballed distillery after it had been closed for decades and painstakingly restored it to beyond its former glory. It is now reopened for whisky lovers to enjoy.
